Pat Jakopchek is a Partner and works closely with each of our firm’s clients. Prior to working with LPS, Jakopchek worked in the United States House of Representatives as the Chief Speechwriter and Press Deputy for Congresswoman Judy Chu of California. Before that, he was an analyst at The Feldman Group, a Democratic polling firm in Washington, DC. There, he conducted opinion research and developed strategy on behalf of multiple federal and statewide campaigns across the country, and also provided advice to a number of labor unions and non-profit organizations regarding ballot issues and legislative campaigns.
Before moving to Washington, Jakopchek worked as a project manager at the Chilenski Strategy Group, where he helped develop and execute strategy for political campaigns throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
A research and political professional, Jakopchek holds a Masters Degree in Public Communication from American University. He is a magna cum laude graduate in Political Science from Saint Louis University’s Honors Program and has worked on, managed and consulted numerous campaigns at the local, state and federal levels.
